Lee’s Lowdown on PEZ: The cobbles, the classics and being urinated on by Fausto Coppi

I know, I have the best headlines huh! That’s one you won’t find on CyclingSnooze…

This week’s Lee’s Lowdown on PezCycling News looks at the opening classics of the season, this weekend’s Omloop Het Nieuwsblad and Kuurne-Brussel-Kuurne.

It also features a former pro’s tale of getting pissed on by Il Campionissimo!

Click the image below to head to PEZ to read the article, thanks!

  1. Lee great articles BUT why do you submit these to Pezcyclingnews? I was one of the first readers of this website and thoroughly enjoyed its style and articles UNTIL it became apparent that Pez ( and his contributors largely) we’re no more than Armstrong groupies and apologists. Do a quick search on the site under Lance Armstrong and you will quickly see the sycophantic articles and comments… Highlighted by Pez ( a guy whose articles I initially really enjoyed reading ) recorded interview for a Canadian TV show post Oprah….. Well, view it and make your own mind up. Yes all ( well nearly all) bought into the LA crap at one time or another, but these guys were spouting the message long after it was clear to all what was going on. I can only think it was to keep open the door to LA’s access and interviews etc, which no doubt bought in extra readership. But isn’t this the very behaviour we need to stamp out?
I understand you need to make a living, but association with this site only harms your credibility in my eyes. Would love to hear your views?
